The Green Business Centre has increased its training provision through the launch of its IEMA Approved Environmental Legislation one-day course.
Environmental Legislation is a course designed to equip delegates with a knowledge and understanding of the environmental legislative structure, current environmental legislation and its enforcement. The objective is for delegates to gain an understanding of relevant environmental legislation applicable to an organisation and of the initial steps required to facilitate compliance. The course provides an overview of the following:
- Origins of environmental law- National, European and International;
- UK Administrative Structures and Regulators;
- Non- Compliance and prosecutions;
- Relevant environmental law, and;
- Sources of information.
